Huawei opens its talent training program “Seeds for the
Future” for 2024.
This year the training will take place entirely in Rome, Italy.
Applications for Huawei's flagship student program open on April 1, 2024
"Seeds for the Future". The program gives young talents from all over the world the opportunity to
participate in short-term trainings, global competitions and ongoing activities focused
around digital technologies, providing them with an important platform to understand the
industry innovation, cross-cultural exchange and developing an entrepreneurial spirit.
The initiative confirms Huawei's commitment to not only identify and support
talented people, but also to help bridge the gap between academic training and
practical application in the ICT sector by preparing students for the dynamic
requirements of the modern business world through the increase of technological experience and
the promotion of leadership qualities.
In 2024, the "Seeds for the Future" program provides the winners in full
face-to-face training which will be held in Rome, Italy in the first week of July.
Huawei Technologies Bulgaria will give three of the most prominent candidates the opportunity to
participate in the studies together with the other award-winning students from other European countries.
In 2023, two of the students who completed online training in the program were from Bulgaria
and have been awarded with a week-long visit to China, involving alumni from nearby
twenty European countries. During the week, they participated in educational sessions with experts from
the tech world, inspiring discussions on key topics such as diversity, green skills
and sustainability and advanced in the areas of connectivity and innovation. The visit
concluded with an impressive closing ceremony with leading experts from around the world.
Requirements for applicants to the program are to be current students, proficient
in English, have a strong interest in information and communication
technologies, and be ready to acquire new knowledge and skills.
They need to provide a CV, motivation letter and a short video in English
lasting up to 3 minutes on the topic "What is the future of ICT technologies and artificial
intelligence?'
