CALL FOR STUDENTS – Borders, Security, and Mediterranean Relations: Transnational Perspectives – Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) funded by Erasmus+

How are borders drawn, contested and crossed across the Mediterranean? And how do security and cooperation shape relations between its shores? We invite students to explore these questions in a Blended Intensive Programme combining online component with a week of in-person study in Rome, from 23 to 27 November 2026, at Niccolò Cusano University.

• Border governance and migration
• Maritime and regional security
• Diplomacy and Euro-Mediterranean ties
• Transnational networks and societies

Who can apply: Students from the University of National and World Economy enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme in defence and security economics, political science, international relations, law, or related fields.

Funding
The programme is funded by Erasmus+. Participants receive travel and subsistence support and will be awarded a certificate upon successful completion.

Fill the application form by 15 October 2026. The selected applicants will be notified by 23 October 2026.
