Nikola Petrov holds a Bachelor's degree in "International Economic Relations" and a Master's degree in Defense and Security Economics from the UNWE. He is currently a full-time PhD student at the Department of National and Regional Security. His scientific interests are in the field of energy and nuclear security, which are the focus of his dissertation on the topic "Integration of small modular reactors in the energy system of Bulgaria".
