Prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimitrov, Rector of University of National and World Economy (UNWE/УНСС) and Major General Stayko Prokopiev, Commandant of Rakovski National Defence College, signed an agreement for cooperation and joint activities at an official ceremony in the Royal Halls complex of the oldest Military University in Bulgaria.

The coordinators of the cooperation agreement are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noncho Dimitrov, Head of the Department of National and Regional Security at the UNWE, and Colonel Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dimitar Tashkov from Rakovski National Defence College.

The UNWE, represented by the Department of National and Regional Security and Rakovski National Defence College, are part of the consortium of the National Scientific Programme "Security and Defence", established in implementation of the National Strategy for the Development of Scientific Research 2017 - 2030 and adopted by Decision No. 731 of the Council of Ministers of October 21, 2021.
