On April 2, 2024, the staff of the "National and Regional Security" department, represented by the head Assoc. Prof. Dr. Noncho Dimitrov, teachers and doctoral students, awarded the best performing students in the second scientific essay competition "Ethics, Science, education'. The competition is organized within the "Scientific Ethics" discipline, conducted for first-year students, majoring in "Economics of Defense and Security".

After a careful review of the essays and discussion, the jury, chaired by Prof. Dr. Tsvetan Tsvetkov, ranked a total of eleven works that, to the greatest extent, meet the pre-set criteria. The students Magi Yankova Nikolova, Stefani Stefanova Zhuleva and Alexander Evgeniev Galev are ranked first, second and third, respectively. For good results, the jury also awarded Kristina Yordanova Petkova, Erik Naydenov Vasilev, Iveta Ognyanova Velichkova, Darin Miroslavov Dunov, Yordan Yordanov Georgiev, Monika Ivanova Deleva, Maria Hristova Koleva and Vaneska Nikolaeva Stoyanova with honorary diplomas.

The team of the department wishes the best colleagues more success in their studies, and all the others more inspiration in subsequent scientific endeavors and events!
