On 11.04.2024, students from our Bachler's degree programme in Defence and Security Economics visited the building of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria within the their course in "Marketing and trade in military and special products"

The visit was organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Svetoslav Spasov, lecturer in the department and director of the Center for Nuclear Security Support at the UNWE. The students had the opportunity to discuss current issues in the field of defense and security with the people's representatives from the parliamentary committee on defense Hristo Gadjev (chairman of the committee), Alexander Valchev and Tomislav Donchev.

During the visit, opportunities for partnerships, internships and professional realization of the students studying in bachelor's and master's programs in the Department of "National and Regional Security" were also discussed. 

These visits continue to be regarded by our students not only as very useful, but as extremely motivating for them as well.
